“Peacefully nestled amongst the trees with breathtaking mountain views”

The  mountain home at 596 Crippled Oak Trail is situated on 1.5 acres, and has several decks, including two covered decks on the front. At the time of this post, the asking price is $289,900.   Don’t let the driveway keep you from looking at this one. There is plenty of room to maneuver at the top.

A letter from the Bent Tree Board President, and another letter from the Bent Tree General Manager, were posted to the official Bent Tree website (under Communications Hub, property login required) yesterday, regarding the upcoming CC&R vote.

If reading the letters sends your blood pressure up, here’s a photo taken yesterday that should help bring your BP back down (click image to zoom).

There were all sorts of butterflies on a Joe Pye Weed (Eupatorium purpureum), which is growing in a sunny roadside spot in Bent Tree. The photo below captured four different butterflies (click image to zoom). See the second photo below if you can’t find all four.

Now blooming in Bent Tree

The native wildflower Physostegia virginiana, common name “obedient plant“, is in full bloom this week in Bent Tree.

A “wild obedient” plant…how’s that for an oxymoron?
